Who are you people?
SmartLassy is operated by Tina Haldiman and Kate Foster. They are geeks. They spend most of their time in front of laptops. Sometimes they get together and sit in front of laptops in the same room as one another. Occasionally, they send each other instant messages whilst less than five feet apart. They realize that this behavior is absurd, but they do it anyway.

Do you personally endorse all the products you feature?
Not necessarily. If we own the stuff we feature, we'll let you know and tell you how we feel about it. Very often, though, we are just passing along links to things that seem cool. If you buy something we feature on our site and hate it, please let the vendor know. You can let us know, too, but there's not much we can do. If we get multiple, credible complaints about a particular site or vendor, we'll post a caveat.

Why'd you start this?
Tina and Kate are both fond of shopping online, particularly of searching for unique, silly products to enhance their wardrobes, accessories, and personal collections of gadgetry. They wanted to share their findings with the world.

Yep. Kate makes websites for a living, and she blogs at Six-Layer Kate and Perfidy.org. Sadly, Tina is currently without a web presence due to the fact that her small army of children disallow any personal endeavors. Buncha little fascists.
