nintendo clutch

nintendo clutchLooking for that perfect bag to go along with the Little Black Dress? This clutch is a replica of the original Nintendo controller and conjures up warm memories of all those hours we you spent playing "Ninja Gaiden" when you should have been playing outside. 6" high by 7" wide, so there's enough room for lip gloss, ID, credit cards, and some of those gold coins you collected while saving the Princess.

liberate your torso

travelon.jpgWe went to a party a few weeks ago and didn't know most of the other guests. Nearly all the women in attendance had purses. Small purses. Small, banana-shaped purses with short straps that hung from their shoulders, nestled awkwardly in their armpits, requiring adjustment every 30 seconds. I wanted very badly to leap onto the dining room table, my Travelon bag held aloft, and yell, "Women! Purses can be comfortable! Free your armpits! Be able to use BOTH arms!" This shoulder bag is extremely roomy and durable (I cannot tell you how much mine has been abused) and has an extra-long, adjustable strap, so you can wear it crisscross and have your hands free. Also, the little cell phone holder at the top means you never have to go rummaging through your stuff when you get a call. Check out the rest of Travelon's stuff, too.

mmmmm ... candy

candy_bag.jpgIf you ever feel a twinge of remorse when you ball up a gum wrapper, this bag will brighten your wardrobe and soothe your eco-guilt. Made from recycled candy wrappers, this handbag is durable and waterproof (yup, waterproof) with a zip closure. Now if someone would only figure out a way to use the three zillion empty Cheetos packets that passers-by fling into my yard.

bag drag

drag_bagMany geek girls travel a lot for work, and if there's an airplane and a layover involved, having a laptop with you is essential. As much as we love our cute sling bags in pretty colors, we realized pretty quickly that when you have ten minutes to get from Concourse A to Concourse D in ATL (a distance of approximately 3,000 miles), having a 20-pound bag hanging from your neck sorta sucks. Happily, laptop bags now come in wheeled-luggage variety, and now they're pretty to boot. Now you can look chic while you lay the beat-down on people who stand still on the left side of the people-mover. Available in aqua, black, pink, green, red, and sand.

$161.96. From Luggage Online.
